We will normally grow four or five varieties of squash, some organically and some not. Every body has their favourite. The squash come in a vast array of colours and sizes and they will have different keeping qualities. They are all members of the same vegetable family, although you may have a job to belive it |

| Crown Prince (Non
Organic) Large grey pumpkinlike squash that eminates from New Zealand. They are grown non organicly and vary in size from 2kg to 5kg. Good keepers and will store round until April. |

Green Kabocha (Non Organic) Dark green hard skin squash that eminates from Japan also known as Hokido. These are grown non organiclly and generally weigh abot 1-1.5kg but can weigh up to 3kg. |

| Onion Squash (Organic) Name comes from the fact that it looks a little like an onion and that is about it. Available Late August/November. Need to be used by November as they dont keep so well |

Gem Squash (Organic) These are small cricket ball size summer/winter squash that grow on a bush plant, dark green in colour available September/ October. |

| Butternut (Organic) Probably the nations favourite, however not that easy to grow and store in this country, they need a little more heat to fully ripen them. They weigh from half kg to 3 kg. |
