Good news for our cheeses in the Great Taste awards this year. Old Winchester takes a 2 Star Gold and then Stoney Cross tops that with a 3 Star Gold and finishes in the top 50. If you look at the cheese page you will see that they consistently perform and give us results across the board.
The organic vegetables are all performing well. They are in need of irrigation all time, as we are still short of rain. Supply is tight there is nothing to spare at the moment, courgette as you can see are beautiful, lovely shine to them, runner beans have shaken off the threat of Black Fly, harvesting a ton a day,and the green beans are looking good. Broad beans finished, as is the case with peas, Sweet Corn still several weeks away.
