Better late than never, first day of June silage making underway. Huge crops of grass, two days wilting has given it time to dry out, but ground conditions very soft.
The two young ladies opposite are Geri and La from Cheese Artisans, Singapore. They import European Cheeses to Singapore and have been using Old Winchester for a while and have taken the opportunity, albeit brief, to pop in and see us, as they have done other cheese makers previously, to get a better idea as to what is involved, and understand more fully the skills of cheese making.
