The new cookery school
at the Chewton Glen is now fully open and ready for business, www.chewtonglen.com/the-kitchen. Helped along the way with James Martin there are many exiting courses to entertain you. The cheese course is led by Louise Talbot from Dorset, and she will take you through some of the basics and help you through the dos’s and dont’s. There was a course in May, picture, and two more  this year one in July and another in September.

British Cheese Awards, held at the Bath and West  Show attracted some 1000 entries from Britain and Ireland, Pete Humphries , from White Lake, carrying off the Championship with Pave Cobble, and he also won the Best British Modern Class with Sheep Rustler,

For us there was a Gold for The Lyburn Gold, and Bronze for Old Winchester, Smoked Stoney Cross and Winchester. This represents a good solid set of results for us.
