For those of you that enjoy your markets, we now have a Winchester Farmers market on Saturday 14th April, by kind permission of the Dean of Winchester Cathedral. We have been to the Harvest Festival Markets in previous years, this is a great new addition to the market program for Hampshire Farmers Markets. On the same day for those of you a bit closer to London, we will be at Beaconsfield Cheese market, just off the M40.

We are all suffering from lack of rain, so we will need to be careful with the lettuce planting. They have been planted in perfect conditions, but will need some water to get them going. The reservoir is nearly full, so we should have enough water this year. Cow are out to grass early, just during the day time, they will stay in at night until the weather warms up a little.
